Rooibos is a South African tisane made from the aspalathus linearis plant. Also known as red bush tea, it has a refreshing full bodied taste that is often described as nutty, sweet-ish and smooth. It can be prepared like black tea, with milk or sugar to taste, but is also delicious on its own.
