Time to try a more unusual tea!
If you often find yourself reaching for the same black tea every morning, it could be time to try something a little more unusual. There are so many different types of loose leaf tea available that the only problem you will have is deciding which one to start with! These are some of our favourite brews that could put a spring in your step first thing in the morning.
Turkish delight
Turkish delight is an exciting blend of black tea, rosehip peels, rosella petals, sweet osmanthus flowers and, of course, the sweet taste of strawberry. Although this is a great tea to serve after a meal, there's no reason why you can't indulge at other times of day - the best part is that it can be enjoyed either hot or chilled!
Lemongrass ginger and goji berry
For a refreshing start to your day, lemongrass ginger and goji berry is sure to hit the spot due to its fresh, natural flavours. If you prefer a sweeter tea then you can add sugar or honey for an extra kick!
Shanghai fairytale
Anyone who hasn't tried white tea before might want to give Shanghai fairytale a go - it blends Chinese silver needle tea with osmanthus, safflower and jasmine flower petals. This is an ideal choice for anyone with a sweet tooth, thanks to its underlying notes of peach and strawberry.
Safari sunrise
One thing you can't accuse safari sunrise tea of is being dull - even the loose leaf tea itself is brightly coloured, which is certainly something that is also brought to the palate. Rooibos tea is mixed with rose, marigold and cornflower petals to create a rich tea that is perfect either as soon as you wake up, or after a meal in the evening.
